CIM ORCHESTRA CONCERT WITH JOANN FALLETTA (3/28/24)

There are few pieces with a more triumphant ending than "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Mussorgsky, arr. by Ravel. Today's concert was a thrill playing some of the most exhilarating repertoire there is! I was able to play under the baton of JoAnn Falletta during my sophomore year of my undergrad -- in fact that concert was the last concert I played before Covid shut the world down. It was special reconnecting with Maestro Falletta and sharing that memory together. I especially enjoyed this concert because of the fun violin section we had. :)
